GAME ONE

(Jim, Alan, Paul, Darren, Joe)

We do a couple of off-camera missions to bring back fungi.

Our first actual conflict happens when we are assailed by 4 dire rats.  A summoned dire badger flanks one, Bravin stabs same one eventually taking him down.  Gathnam gets chewed up a little, but after Xer Tay hacks the shit out of two of them, we win.  We collect our fungi, pass go, and go home to collect 60xp.

Next time out we are in a passage when something growls at us.  It turns out to be some kind of cat-like beast who can peal back the flaps of skin on its face and let out a howl.  Said howl makes Bravin run away (for 1 round) but we manage to kill it.  Turns out there's another one.  Gathnam puts a light spell in its general direction and after it does the same trick to scare us off, both Gathnam and Chailen run away.  Joe had checked out already so that left Chailen and Addaim to fight with it.  It goes down in about 3 rounds and a couple rounds later the runners make their way back.  Addaim calms down two "kittens" of the animal we saw and we return those along with treasure we find in the room:  2 Plantinum, 213 Gold, 25 Silver, and a gem worth about 50gp.  When we get back and return the food and the kittens, the authorities give us 2000 additional gold as payment (to the group),  We earned 120XP.

We've made no decision about division of cash: It is all listed on the MAIN page.

One item found was a coin.  It had writing on it that does not appear to coincide with the Charonti society in any way.


GAME TWO

(Jim, Alan, Paul, Jeff, Darren)

We go for Tar.  We encounter a kobold who tries to ambush us in our sleep but ultimately gets away as it manages to keep getting further and further away from us.

Next mission we encounter a bridge with a Bugbear on it.  He keeps spearing Chailen but we get him.

Third mission we encounter what seemed to be a spider (that kept webbing Chailen) but turned out to be a small demon (Imp? Quasit?) that proceeds to use the cramped confines to endlessly damage Chailen.  By the time he gets raised the third time, it's been drawn out to an area where Bravim and a host of others get it trapped in a bag then rope it.

We head back, the quasit turns into a puff of smoke the second he's hauled out of the room leaving us with a bag of farts.

Treasure keeping was handed over to JEFF, the leader.  Also, we earned another 60 + 120 + 240 xp this game.


 GAME THREE

(Jim, Alan, Paul, Jeff, Darren)

We go exploring.  We find a stone door.  On the other side are 5 sarcophagi with 5 skeletons.  We pull back to bottleneck them at the door and take one down, then Anwell turns them and we go in after that.  Eventually they get destroyed and we search only to find a passage behind statue that leads down.  After dropping down there we search and Bravim finds a pit the hard way.  Inside is a Zombie that hurts him.  Gath Nem casts a light into the pit and after Anwell turns it and Bravim beats it senseless and climbs out.  He finds another pit on the other side of the room, this time the less painful way.

Up the corridor  we are assailed by 4 tiny skeletons that get turned also.  We pursue them and explore the area a while and low on resources we try to backtrack but ultimately wind up meeting the same 4 tiny skeletons.  This time they take down Bravim before they get crushed.  We return to the sarcophagus room to rest since we're out of heals and all wizard spells.

We camp.  We get through two shifts before something tries to open the door.  Several of us jump up and try to add weight to block the door.  When we are prepared we open the door and nothing is there.  Suddenly a spider attacks from within the group and gets crushed (after failing to poison Addaim).  We look for trouble and a silence spell happens around us.  We look around for something to attack (many of us holding and waiting).  Eventually a Charonti appears next to GathNam, seizes control of the Sartar and the two flank GathNam.

A long fight in which the entire team goes down except for Chailen, who manages to finally squash it then use a potion of healing on Addaim the turn before he bleeds out.

This evil bastard has been enslaving Charonti to "dig" for him.  We free some Charonti slaves and pick up any goods he had lying around.

One treasure is an everburning torch.  Seems these are a state secret because only evil can make lights stay on.  We are sworn to secrecy about it.
